Teen Girl Fatally Shot Outside Her Kansas City Home, Community in Mourning
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A quiet summer evening in Kansas City turned into a scene of heartbreak late Friday night when a teenage girl was fatally shot while standing outside her home. The shooting occurred around 10:00 p.m. on August 9 in the area of East 36th Street and Norton Avenue, shattering the peace of the neighborhood and leaving residents reeling.
