It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Leeann Marie (LaGosh) Busse, age 50, of Greenleaf, Wisconsin. She died unexpectedly on July 25, 2025, while celebrating her 20th wedding anniversary during a vacation with her husband, Chris “Dexter” Busse.
Born on April 10, 1975, Leeann led a life defined by compassion, dedication, and boundless love. As a gifted educator, she connected deeply with students and their families, shaping young minds with patience, warmth, and genuine care. To many, she was more than a teacher—she was a mentor, an advocate, and a trusted friend.
Leeann cherished her role as a mother to two children, Mason and Aaleigh, who were the very center of her world. She balanced parenthood with unwavering devotion and joy, nurturing their dreams and celebrating their individuality at every turn. As a loving wife, she and Dexter built a life filled with partnership, shared laughter, and mutual respect.
Beyond her immediate family, Leeann was surrounded by a strong circle of loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Linda (Floyd) Jerred; her sisters Laura (Kelly) Rollin and Lisa (Tim) Francis; her brother Michael (Jamie) Jerred; her father-in-law Donald Busse; and brothers-in-law Brad (Becky) Busse and DJay Busse, along with countless extended family and dear friends .

Visitation: Friday, August 1, 2025, from 3 PM to 8 PM at the Cotter Family Gathering Center, 518 Meadow Ln, Wrightstown, WI.

Continuation & Celebration of Life: Saturday, August 2, 2025, visitation from 10 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12 PM at the same location .
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to establish scholarships for students at De Pere High School pursuing education majors—continuing Leeann’s passion for teaching and mentorship .
