Born on July 5, 2002, in Coeur d’Alene, she grew up exploring multiple interests—playing volleyball, track, and soccer in high school, working at Texas Roadhouse, and excelling at gymnastics—a sport where she earned a reputation for scoring 9.0 or higher thanks to her dedication and joyful spirit .

Graduating in 2020, Xana adorned her graduation mortarboard with butterflies and flowers, inscribed with the inspiring words: “For The Lives That I Will Change.” Little did she know how deeply that message would resonate . She continued her journey at the University of Idaho, majoring in marketing, joining the Pi Beta Phi sorority, working at the Mad Greek restaurant in Moscow, and contributing to the Vandal Solutions Sales Team.
