Cynthia Ruth Baker Reeves Obituary – Hartselle Woman Killed in Tragic Head-On Crash in Cullman County

With deep sorrow, the Hartselle and wider Cullman County communities mourn the sudden loss of Cynthia Ruth Baker Reeves, aged 55, who tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday, July 6, 2025, around 3:00 p.m., on County Road 222 near County Road 351, approximately one mile south of Crane Hill, Alabama

The Accident – A Devastating Impact

Cynthia was driving her 2005 Chevrolet Impala when it collided head-on with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 39-year-old Shawn P. Bagwell of Cullman  Alabama State Troopers confirmed that Cynthia was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and tragically suffered fatal injuries, being pronounced dead at the scene

Bagwell sustained injuries and was transported by air to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital . Aboard the Silverado were four children, aged between 8 and 14, who also required medical attention at a nearby hospital
