On the early morning of July 4, violent flash floods surged through the Texas Hill Country, sweeping away cabins at Camp Mystic along the Guadalupe River. As the river rose over 26 feet in under an hour, rescue crews were unable to reach all campers in time. In total, 27 campers and counselors lost their lives, and several remain unaccounted for
