Born on June 15, 1957, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, Paul was a lifelong resident of Palo Alto County and a proud member of the small rural community of Cylinder. Known for his humble spirit, steadfast work ethic, and deeply caring nature, Paul lived a life that reflected the values of honesty, resilience, and quiet devotion to those he held dear.
Paul was raised on the family farm, where he developed a deep appreciation for the land and a respect for hard work that stayed with him throughout his life. After graduating from Emmetsburg High School, he continued the family tradition by working in agriculture, a field he remained passionate about for decades. Whether planting crops, fixing machinery, or lending a helping hand to a neighbor in need, Paul was always a dependable presence.
