Haslet Community Mourns the Sudden Loss of Beloved Mother and Nurse Brandey Nicole Jones, 41
HASLET, TEXAS — With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of Brandey Nicole Jones, who left this world far too soon on June 20, 2025, at the age of 41. A devoted mother, cherished daughter, loyal friend, and beloved member of the Haslet community, Brandey’s life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and boundless love.
Born on March 12, 1984, in Fort Worth, Texas, Brandey grew up surrounded by family who instilled in her a strong sense of faith, kindness, and perseverance. Those values stayed with her throughout her life and became the foundation of the woman she would grow to be — a woman whose warmth radiated through every room she entered and whose strength served as a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
Brandey was best known for the unwavering love she gave to her children, who were the center of her universe. She was a mother in the truest sense of the word — nurturing, protective, patient, and endlessly giving. Whether she was cheering on the sidelines at a soccer game, helping with homework late into the night, or simply offering a comforting hug on a tough day, Brandey’s devotion to her children was unmatched. To them, she wasn’t just a mom — she was a best friend, a mentor, and a guiding light.
Professionally, Brandey worked as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN), where her compassion and empathy made a deep impact on her patients and colleagues alike. Her calling in healthcare was more than a career — it was an extension of her heart. She had a gift for making others feel seen and cared for, even in their most vulnerable moments. Coworkers remember her as a calm presence in crisis and a reliable source of support who always made time to help someone in need.
Outside of work and family, Brandey found joy in the simple moments — baking cookies with her kids, gardening in the sunshine, watching old movies, and singing along to her favorite country songs while driving with the windows down. Her laughter was infectious, her hugs unforgettable, and her ability to make people feel special and loved was one of her greatest gifts.
Brandey’s unexpected passing has left a void that words cannot fully capture. Her absence is deeply felt not only by her family but by the countless friends, neighbors, coworkers, and patients whose lives she touched. In the days since her passing, the outpouring of love and tributes from the Haslet community has been a powerful reminder of just how many hearts she influenced.
She is survived by her three beloved children — Kayla, 18; Mason, 15; and Ava, 11 — as well as her mother, Debra Jones, her brother, Jeremy, and many extended family members and dear friends who now carry her memory forward.
A celebration of Brandey’s life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Legacy Church in Haslet, with Pastor Mark Ellison officiating. A visitation will be held the evening before, Wednesday, June 26, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stonegate Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Burial will follow the service at Haslet Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a memorial fund established to support the education and well-being of her children — the people she loved most in this world.
Brandey Nicole Jones may have left us far too soon, but her spirit endures in the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the legacy of strength and kindness she leaves behind. Her light will never fade from the hearts of those who loved her.
