Deadly Domestic Dispute in Somerset Township Leaves One Dead, Two Hospitalized

In the early hours of Saturday, July 5, 2025, just before 1:15 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police responded to reports of gunfire and a disturbance at a residence on Crestview Drive in Somerset Township.

  • A 24-year-old woman and her 24-year-old male companion had entered the home to retrieve belongings belonging to the woman. An altercation ensued when the woman’s 23-year-old ex-boyfriend confronted them inside the house w.

  • During the dispute, the ex-boyfriend allegedly opened fire, wounding both the woman and her companion .

  • The 24-year-old man was struck by gunfire and was transported to UPMC Mercy, where he remains in critical conditione

  • The 24-year-old woman was airlifted to Conemaugh Hospital and is reportedly in stable condition
